About the program
Since 2008, the CED has contributed to the development of specialized professionals in cave mining, offering a learning experience that connects academic knowledge with industry practice. The program addresses the main technical disciplines involved in cave mining projects and operations, including geomechanics, mine design, drill and blast, mine planning, caving project analysis, mine ventilation, and applied field experience.
Following the experience of its first international edition, the CED continues to strengthen its global scope through online technical sessions, recognized lecturers from different countries and professional backgrounds, and a Technical Mine Visit designed to connect participants with real mining environments and operational challenges.
