Program Objectives
Cave mining, as a highly complex mining method, requires specialized professionals with technical competences in several areas, such as preconditioning, mine design, mine planning, mine ventilation, and automation. The CED trains specialized professionals through academic activities such as lectures, technical presentations, personal study and other activities.

- Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate degree in mining or in a related
discipline. Academic degree certificate must be submitted as a notarized
photocopy. - Actualized CV Summarized.
- Each application will be reviewed by the Academic Program Committee.

Bilingual Instruction via Zoom (English)
- The classes will be taught in English
- Classes will be delivered and recorded through the Zoom Platform
The CED program activities are obligatory
- The CED activities are evaluated through reports and/or presentations in the second week of each module (Exceptions: First week in the first module and both weeks in the eighth module).
- The Diploma program may serve as a pathway to a master‘s degree.
Approval requirements
- Each module of the program has activities that will be evaluated. The minimum grade is 4.0. on a grading scale from 1.0 to 7.0. In addition, student attendance must be at least 75%.
