3. What is the course format?
It is an Hybrid Program format using the Zoom platform + Technical Mine Visit in Chile
4. What are the admission requirements for the diploma?
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a field related to the program. Professionals with a degree whose level, content, and duration are equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chile may also apply.
5. When do classes start?
October 2026.
6.What is the deadline for CED registration?
The deadline for registration is September 15.
7. Are there financing options available?
In the case of company sponsorship, students must submit a
purchase order (PO) to formalize their application to the CED
program.
8. Can the program be paid in installments?
Yes, payment can be made via electronic transfer or Webpay (Visa, Diners, or Mastercard).
9. How many instructional hours are included in the diploma?
The program consists of a total of 220 academic hours.
10. What certification is awarded upon completion?
Upon fulfilling all program requirements, students will receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Caving Engineering, issued by the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile.
